To all JKS/IJKA Worldwide Members: It is with deep regret and great sorrow that we write to inform you that Asai Tetsuhiko Shuseki Shihan has passed away on Tuesday August 15, 2006. A public funeral, to which all members are invited and welcome to attend, will be held on Friday September 1, 2006, starting at 1:00 PM in Tokyo. Please inform other affiliated Dojo(s) in your country by faxing them a copy of this letter or contacting them by phone, mail or email. The funeral will take place at Gokokuji Temple, facing Gokokuji Station of the Tokyo Metro Subway. From Narita Airport, take the Keisei Line train to Nippori Station. At Nippori Station take the Japan Railaway (JR) Yamanote Line train to Ikebukuro Station. At Ikebukuro Station take the Yurakucho Line train to Gokokuji Station. Formal attire is required : black suite, white shirt, and black colored tie. For staying arrangements, you may contact JTB Ikebukuro and make reservations at +81 (0)3 5391 2611.
